The Right To Know (Ultrasounds and Abortion)

Abortion is hardly a cut and dry issue. Pro-Life advocates are motivated by the belief that human personhood begins at conception, thus, an abortion murders a baby. Some Pro-lifers accept termination of a pregnancy in special cases, others do not. Pro-Abortion activists more often than not believe that human life becomes a "person" some time after conception, though few agree on the exact moment. Some supporters of abortion will tell you that life begins when the embryo's heart begins beating, or when the fetus begins to look human, or when the child becomes sentient, or it has half emerged from the mother's body, or is born, or is severed from its mother and is able to function independently. Therefore, those who support legalized abortion believe a woman should have the choice to abort the pregnancy prior to that time the fetus becomes a person. There is no single pro-life position and no single pro-abortion position. In fact, the only thing the two groups may have in common is the desire to see a reduction in the number of abortions performed.

To achieve a reduction in the number of abortions, many pro-lifers promote supporting services for women in crisis pregnancies. In addition to this, many pro-lifers also seek legal restrictions on abortion access. The group that calls themselves pro-choice most often states that a reduction of abortions performed can be achieved by promoting better comprehensive birth control education in schools, to women who are sexually active, and greater access to contraceptives.

Lost in the debate between the "Right To Life" and the "Right To Choose" is "The Right To Know." After all, both groups agree that better education and learning as much knowledge as is available regarding abortion can assist a woman in better determining what she wants to do when faced with this very significant decision.

Chris Slattery, founder of Expectant Mother Care (also known as EMC Frontline Pregnancy Centers), has provided a new opportunity for knowledge in this debate. He believes a woman must be armed with all of the knowledge available before choosing to abort a pregnancy, including seeing an ultrasound of their unborn babies.

Chris Slattery joins Political Pistachio Radio tonight to discuss this seldom talked about opportunity that most abortion clinics refuse to discuss. Abortion clinics would prefer not to show ultrasounds to expectant mothers who have decided to put their unborn child through the physically painful procedure of abortion, and themselves through the emotionally painful procedure. But why would abortion clinics wish not to give women this additional opportunity for knowledge? The reason is simple, because seeing the ultrasounds changes the minds of previously abortion-minded women. What loving mother could possibly look her baby in the eyes and go through with the procedure of abortion that will affect her for a lifetime?

Join us tonight at 10:00 Eastern, or catch the archive later. Listeners are urged to call in and participate! Visit Political Pistachio Radio tonight for this powerful guest.

Father's Rights Book, "Rabies Mom," on Political Pistachio Radio

Tonight on Political Pistachio Radio is author and father's rights advocate Pat Carroll. His new book, Rabies Mom, was written along with his brother-in-law Jack McGowan, and the book recounts his recent, personal story of fighting for custody of his six children, one of whom died of rabies while in her mother's custody.

Pat and Jack say courts too often award custody to mother's even when they aren't necessarily the better parent. Together, they plan to form the Better Parent Foundation, a think tank and outreach program that would potentially influence the way courts today decide custody cases. In Pat's case, during the time it took for the court system to finally grant him custody of his children, it was too late for one of his young daughters.

On the show tonight Pat and Jack will discuss:
--The status of fathers̢۪ rights in America today
--Are U.S. courts biased against fathers in custody battles?
--How fathers can successfully win custody of their children
--The true story behind Rabies Mom

Tune in tonight at 10:00 pm Eastern on Political Pistachio Radio (Link is good for the archive later as well).

Papa KORN

Jonathan Davis, the lead singer of KORN, was born in Bakersfield, California. During his teenage years he recorded demos in his father’s studio. Later, he joined a band called Sex Art, Which also included Ryan Shuck (the guitarist of the current band Orgy). Sex Art was performing in a club one night when at the time L.A.P.D. was also performing which had James Shaffer and Brian Welch (Munky and Head of Korn) saw Jonathan Davis singing, and asked him to join their band Creep. After Jon got the job they later became Korn.

Jonathan's father, Rick Davis, first worked in the music industry with Glenn Campbell. He spent several years working for and learning from Gary S. Paxton (Alley Oop - and many other hits - Gary has been a Christian producer since the 1970's).

Rick Davis spent over 25 years in the music industry, touring, recording, managing, and then mentoring.

Rick's very successful brother, Mike Davis, is the Senior VP of Entertainment for Universal Theme Parks, Japan, and he is a former VP of entertainment for Disney.

Rick Davis' final tour was working for Ringo Starr on his 1989/90 All Star Band Tour.

Rick had a lifetime close working relationship with the late Buck Owens, operating Buck's recording studio for 16 years.

Jonathan Davis is my second cousin (once removed?). Rick is my mom's cousin. When Rick and Mike Davis were kids one of their strong musical influences was my grandfather. Grandpa loved gadgets and guitars, and he loved to show everyone how it all worked. Mike took to the guitar and musical side, and Rick was more into the gadgets. In the end, both brothers broke into the music industry, Mike as a singer, and Rick became involved in the production end of the industry.

I last spoke with Rick in person at my grandfather's funeral years ago. Jonathan will always be to me that quiet little kid that I ignored at family get togethers. Little did I know that the young man that studied to be a mortician in college would be the front man for one of the biggest rock bands in history.

Recently, I was thinking about doing a show on my Political Pistachio Radio about how the music industry and world of politics affect each other. When the idea formulated in my mind, the first person I thought of to request as a knowledgeable guest regarding the subject was Rick Davis (Papa KORN).

So, Monday night, after my guest hosting on the Andrea Shea King show, Political Pistachio Radio's guest is Rick Davis, the father of Jonathan Davis, to discuss how the music industry and the political cockroaches influence each other. Join us at 10:00 PM Eastern Time.

Back To Basics for the Republican Party

Among Conservatives the rumblings are constantly about how the Republican Party has left us, moving toward the left, using "Compassionate Conservatism" as an excuse to inject big government into the party. The Republican Party leadership is hardly conservative, and the current nomination for President of the United States, John McCain, is barely better than his two Democrat Party opponents.

The Republican Party has lost its way, and if it is not salvaged soon, the GOP will go the way of the Whigs.

A handbook for Republicans who feel in their heart that the basics of the Republican Party have been lost is on the bookshelves of bookstores today. Back to Basics for the Republican Party is a handbook for Republicans that explains how we need to return to our roots. The author of the book is Michael Zak.

Back to the Basics for the Republican Party is an acclaimed history of the Grand Ol' Party from the civil rights perspective, as well as recognizing the founding principles of the United States. Michael Zak believes that we can benefit greatly from knowing and appreciating the Republican Party's heritage.

Michael Zak is a popular speaker to Republican organizations around the country, and his book has been cited by Clarence Thomas in a Supreme Court decision. Hundreds of articles by Mr. Zak are available on the Grand Old Partison blog each day, celebrating 154 years of Republican heroes and heroics.

Tonight, Michael Zak is my guest on Political Pistachio Radio tonight at 10:00 PM Eastern Time.

When Death Returned

A neurologist broke the news to us . . . "As much as a surprise it is that you survived and have healed as well as you have, your condition is worsening and it is doubtful you will live beyond the age of 30."

After news like that, Mrs. Pistachio and I had to do a lot of soul searching. I was already suffering seizures again, limping on my damaged knee, deaf in my left ear with a constant ringing in it driving me batty, suffering from neck pain because of vertebrae damage, and struggling with all of the other affects of the left temporal fracture to my head. But now, the head trauma has progressed, and the medical community proclaimed that death for me was on the horizon. . .

Listen tonight to my Personal Pistachio episode to listen to how we took the news, and what our next move as a couple would be. The show airs tonight at 9pm Eastern.

The Origin of the Species by Darwin, and Ben Stein's Movie, "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed"

When I recommended that people go out and see Ben Stein's Movie, Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, which is in theaters now, the readers of Political Pistachio erupted into all kinds of opinions. In the comment section of Political Pistachio alone the following discussion took place:

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Doug. Read the selfish gene by richard dawkins, it is an excellent book and explains how evolution works in an amazing way.
You can see evolution in action in the world around us eg. the flu virus, that evolves new strains every few years that humans are not naturally protected against.

LBM
lordbrownmouse Email 04.17.08 - 2:52 pm #

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Doug,

So you do not believe in evolution at all?

Let me ask a question. If you were able to leave earth for 100,000,000 years and then returned, would you expect to find no adaptations or changes in the animal species that live here?
lordbrownmouse Email 04.17.08 - 3:00 pm #

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Obviously there are some adjustments in nature. Survival of the fittest, and all that. However, I do not subscribe to the theories of evolution beyond the basic adaptions in nature - and I am in full belief that there is a Creator. There is too much information and proven data that is in opposition to most of the Evolutionary Theories - and after all, like Creation, Evolutionary theories are unproven, hence the reason they are "theories".
Douglas V. Gibbs Email Homepage 04.17.08 - 10:32 pm #

Survival of the fittest?
a Email 04.17.08 - 10:57 pm #

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But lots of basic adaptations over millions of generations is evolution. lbm
lordbrownmouse Email 04.18.08 - 10:59 am #

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Certain Aspects of adaption are an inevitable part of life, but does it explain the origin of life? Can the origin of life truly be from a lack of intelligent design? Can Darwinism declare how life began without using the words "perhaps" and "may"?
Douglas V. Gibbs Email Homepage 04.18.08 - 4:04 pm #

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Remember the origin of life is the simplest single cell life form you can imagine - don't you think there is a possibility that the conditions for this could occur in a planet of volcanoes, earthquakes and meteors without intellgent design?
lordbrownmouse Email 04.19.08 - 4:25 am #

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Darwinism doesn't explain the origin of life, it explains the evolution of life forms - it never meant to. Science doesn't answer religious questions. Also, Darwinism is over 100 years old, and scientific methods have changed greatly since then, and there's so much
more to the laws of evolution then just Darwinism.

Survival of the fittest is the most relevant aspect of old time Darwinism.
a Email 04.19.08 - 11:30 am #

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I guess what I'm trying to say is that Darwinism is no more the sum total of evolution science, than Eienstein's theory of relativity is the sum total of the laws and science of physics. Darwinism is somewhat dated.
a Email 04.19.08 - 11:39 am #

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

if Darwinism doesn't explain the origin of life, only the evolution of life forms - and it was never meant to, as you state, then why, pray-tell, is the book by Darwin called "The Origin of Species"? Besides, this movie is not really about whether or not certain aspects of Darwinism are acceptable or not acceptable, but that Darwinism is the only scientific theories allowed to be put forth in academia - and scientific evidence or theories regarding Intelligent Design is suppressed. . . Why is that?
Douglas V. Gibbs Email Homepage 04.19.08 - 4:25 pm #

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As you can see, it sparked a lot of discussion. But why is it such a volatile issue? And why is the mere mention of an Intelligent Designer enough to get people all up in arms? Is the possibility of an Intelligent Designer that much of a threat to science? I always thought that science was about endless possibilities, and pursuing the evidence to support any idea through the scientific method. Problem is, regardless of the data and evidence acquired regarding Intelligent Design, the Scientific Community suppresses it, and blacklists any scientist that even dares mention Intelligent Design. . . in fact, the wall put up by Science against those that support the possibility of an Intelligent Designer is not much unlike the Berlin Wall built to keep out any dissenting opinion by the Communists.

So, is this an issue about Darwinism? Or is it about Freedom?

Well, all of you out there that find this an important topic that needs to be discussed, tonight on Political Pistachio Radio I am going to be joined by Andrea Shea King, Sunday Night Host of the Andrea Shea King Show on WDBO AM 580 on the Space Coast in Florida, as well as a fellow Blog Talk Radio host, to discuss this matter. We both saw the movie yesterday morning when it was released, and encourage all of those who have an interest in this issue to listen to the show, and participate in the discussion. . . Join us on Political Pistachio Radio Tonight at 10PM Eastern Time!

A Call From Afghanistan

Blog Talk Radio recieved a treat during last night's Political Pistachio Radio Show. Last night on Political Pistachio Radio my guest was Angie Heslen, the Director of Operations for PCSPortico.com. PCS Portico dot com is a resource for the over 400,000 military members and their families that make a Permanent Change of Station each year, as well as a great resource for veteran's and retirees. PCS Portico dot com offers over 40 categories for business listings, and 75% of their gross revenue flows directly back into the military community through the employment of spouses, veterans, and retirees, as well as donations to several military charities. In fact, PCSPortico.com donates 10% of each advertisement sale to military charities. The site offers information on local businesses surrounding the hundreds of major U.S. military installations worldwide, and the site provides an invaluable service to active duty military servicemembers and dependents all in one site.

The interview with Angie was informative, and encouraging, and a real treat was added about halfway through the show. Angie Heslen called us from Germany, and her husband is currently deployed to Afghanistan near the Pakistan border. He called into the show to encourage his wife, thank Political Pistachio for having her on, and to say a few words about his deployment and how thankful he and his fellow troops are to members of the New Media like Political Pistachio for our support of the troops and the mission. I feel honored that such fine personnel are out there defending freedom, and protecting America. As I told him on my show, only my disabilities and non-deployable status keeps me from joining these fine men and women of the United States Military. I, myself, am a U.S. Navy Veteran.

And Thursday Night's show is not the only great one you missed. Recently we have discussed:

The One Year Anniversary of the Virginia Tech Shooting, and the discussions that have resulted,

Globalism vs. Globalization - What's the Difference?,

The Life of Charlton Heston, and the Importance of the Second Ammendment,

Tibet and China, The Year 2012, The Minnesota School of Islam, The Battle of Trafalgar if it happened today with all of the Political Correctness,

Interview With Walid Shoebat, The Islamic Terrorist that became a Christian,

And what, you may ask, is coming up on Political Pistachio Radio in the future? Well, here are a few of our upcoming shows:

The story that the liberal left has jumped all over of the Honorably discharged vet ordered back to Iraq despite disability; discussing movies "Expelled" (Ben Stein's documentary about the loss of freedom, and the suppression of any scientific discussion regarding Intelligent Design in Academia) and "Under the Same Moon" (Hollywood's gift of opinion regarding the illegal alien invasion, unfortunately, this one uses the political hot button of illegal immigration in a cleverly worked tale that demonizes White American Culture, the rule of law, and will be best remembered for the line, "First they screwed the Indians, then they screwed the slaves, and now they're screwing us Mexicans!" With the surging emotional momentum created by this film that will be most appreciated by those who share its political view, perhaps another overstuffed tale such as this will emerge for the gays too. . .jeeeez!)

Kitty Foth-Regner was a feminist in full and happy control of a god-free life - - but when her mother developed a fatal illness, she set out to determine if there really is a God - - her findings changed her life, and her politics, forever. She is the author of Heaven Without Her: A Desperate Daughter's Search for the Heart of Her Mother's Faith.. check out her book, "Heaven without Her."

Alan Keyes has announced a break with the GOP. He is a conservative, Christian, and Reaganite. . . and his influence in Conservatism is felt accross the board - Join us as we have the opportunity to interview this Great American! Read and learn more about Alan Keyes at Alan Keyes dot com.

The Mindset of the Islamic Jihad, and How To Defeat It

Walid Shoebat was born in Bethlehem of Judea, Israel. As a young man, he became a member of the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization), and participated in acts of terror and violence against Israel. He was later imprisoned in the Russian Compound, Jerusalem's central prison for incitement and violence against Israel.

After his release from the Russian Compound, Walid Shoebat continued his life of terrorism, violence, and rioting in Bethlehem and on the Temple Mount. After entering the United States, he worked as a counselor for the Arab Student Organization at Loop College in Chicago while continuing his anti-Israel activities. During that time he became disenchanted with the PLO as being to moderate, and joined the Muslim Brotherhood (forerunner of the terrorist organization Hamas) and was trained for the expected coming Islamic Jihad in America.

In 1993 Walid experienced a spiritual journey after a challenge from his Christian wife. While studying both the Holy Bible and secular history he came to the realization that all he had been taught about Jews and Christians was a lie. Convinced he had been on the side of evil, he became an advocate for his former enemy, and against terrorism.

After speaking around the world and in the media about his life and experiences, as well as his unique position and insight as someone who was part of the Jihadist movements, there are forces challenging his credibility in an attempt to silence him. Tonight Walid Shoebat joins Political Pistachio to discuss these recent attacks against his credibility. Join us at 10pm Eastern, 7pm Pacific on Political Pistachio Radio.

Political Pistachio Radio discusses Obama, homosexuality, Islam, Illegal Aliens, Racial Issues, and Military Separation

On Monday I had a powerful program that dealt with how Islam and the Homosexual Agenda are both using Political Correctness to silence Christianity. Are Christians equipped to handle the onslaught? Listen to the show HERE.

Tonight my guest is Mary Beth Brown, bestselling author and speaker. She is the author of the New York Times and USA Today bestselling book, Hand of Providence: The Strong and Quiet Faith of Ronald Reagan. In 1988, with her husband, she founded Citizens United, one of America's most effective and recognized citizen advocacy organizations. She has been a guest on numerous TV and radio shows including CNN, FOX News, The O'Reilly Factor, Brit Hume, MSNBC, and others. Now she is stepping up to Political Pistachio Radio. Listen tonight as we discuss the campaign of Barack Obama at 10:00pm Eastern/7:00pm Pacific (or you can check the archive as well later) HERE.

Thursday Night at 10pm Eastern, 7pm Pacific, Marc Maxwell joins us. He is the author of Surviving Military Separation. Marc Maxwell will be calling us from Germany where he is a Department of Defense Guidance Counselor who works daily with deployed personnel and their families. The former Army Airborne Ranger is the recipient of several awards, including the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. Listen to tomorrow night's show live (or catch the archive later) HERE.

Have you seen the article moving around the internet called The Racist History of the Democratic Party? The author of that piece is also the author of the articles, "Freedom of Speech For Everyone Except The Clergy," and "I don't support Obama Because of my Faith & Not Because of His Race." His book Unfounded Loyalty answers the question: Why are most blacks in America Democrats? despite the fact that for over 150 years, blacks were victims of terrorist attacks by the Democrats and their Klan supporters, including lynchings, beatings, rapes and mutilations; on the issue of slavery, the Democrats literally gave their lives to expand it - the Republicans gave their lives to ban it; and how many believed the Democrats had a change of heart and fell in love with blacks. To the contrary, history reveals the democrats didn't fall in love with black folks, they fell in love with the black vote knowing this would be their ticket into the white house. His latest book, Unveiling the whole Truth discusses what the media failed to tell American voters. Listen to my interview of Reverend Perryman HERE.

Next week watch for Al Garza, the Executive Director of the Minute Man Project to join us, as well as former Palestinian Terrorist turned Christian, Walid Shoebat.

The Toughest Issues on Political Pistachio Radio

Coming up on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 my guest will be Mary Beth Brown, bestselling author and speaker whose New York Times and USA Today bestselling book, Hand of Providence: The Strong and Quiet Faith of Ronald Reagan is a powerful conservative look at the greatest president. Mary Beth Brown and her husband are the founders of Citizens United, one of America's most effective and recognized citizen advocacy organizations. Mary Beth Brown says that Barack Obama is dangerous in ways we don't even realize. He is capable of deflecting criticism and if elected will divide America. She has been a guest on numerous TV and radio shows including CNN, FOX News, The O'Reilly Factor, Brit Hume, MSNBC, and many others - - - now she is going to add Political Pistachio Radio to that list!

Iraq War Vet for Congress versus Murtha, Dr. Corsi on the North American Union, and Is the U.S. funding terrorism?

The week ahead is exciting. Tonight on Political Pistachio Radio my guest is William Russell, Iraq War Veteran, and Candidate for the U.S. Congress. His opponent will be John Murtha. But Mr. Russell's campaign has been met with dirty tactics by the Murtha camp that knocked Bill off of the ballot, and an internal problem that left him momentarily without a campaign manager. Join us tonight at 10pm Eastern to discuss with him the difficulties of running against a dirty politician like John Murtha, and of course why it is so important for a conservative like William Russell to be voted back on the ballot on April 22, 2008 during the Pennsylvania Primary. Listen Here.

There is no show on Tuesday night. I will be in Arizona to attend a pre-season Angels baseball game, and afterward meet with a few bloggers in the area for dinner.

Dr. Jerome Corsi of World Net Daily joins us on Wednesday to discuss the rising problem of globalism, and the steps being taken to bring about a United North America in the form of a North American Union. Recently, in a press conference that was conducted in support of the Mexican Trucks Program, Dr. Corsi was banned from joining the news conference. Join us to hear what Dr. Corsi has to say about that, as well as the politicians that support a global alliance.

On Thursday we ask the question: Is the U.S. funding terrorism? I have invited James Hutchens, PhD, a former U.S. Military Chaplain who retired as a Brigadier General, and the President of the JerUSAlem Connection magazine to join Political Pistachio on Thursday.

Did you miss last night's Personal Pistachio? It was a powerful episode. I explained my automobile accident, my time in intensive care, my time in a deep coma, and my realization to why it all had happened to me. Catch the archive. . . you'll be glad you did.

Next week I am planning to have on the show Terry, a Christian from Ornaments of Grace to discuss her post "Does Anyone Even Care???".

I have also invited next week an undefeated amateur kickboxer, Scott Venrick, to discuss the misconceptions about kickboxing and mixed martial arts fighting in regards to its alleged contribution to the violence in society.

And don't forget tonight I co-host with Andrea Shea King, on Fridays I join MD Conservative on CIR Radio, and I co-host with Loki on Founding Truth on Saturdays as we travel through the U.S. Constitution.

God Bless,

The Indoctrination of our Children in Public Schools

As seen on Political Pistachio News:

Parents urged to boycott homosexual indoctrination - - - 'Day of Silence' in schools 'about coercing students to repudiate traditional morality.' What if homosexuals staged a huge promotion of that sexual lifestyle choice, and no one came to see it? That's exactly what a coalition of organizations is proposing for April 25, this year's "Day of Silence," which is sponsored in public schools across the nation to promote homosexuality. "It's outrageous that our neighborhood schools would allow homosexual activism to intrude into the classroom," said Buddy Smith of the American Family Association, one of a long list of organizations asking parents to keep their students home from school on that day.

Next on school agenda: Teaching communism - - - A new plan by a California lawmaker would allow schools to be used to promote the overthrow of the U.S. government, and let teachers in public district classrooms "inculcate in the mind of any pupil a preference for communism," according to a traditional values advocacy organization.

California Schools require only positive portrayals of homosexual, bisexual, transgender and other alternative lifestyle choices - - - Only months after a new state law effectively banned "mom" and "dad" from California schools, 600,000 students soon could be following them out the door because of what has been described as the "repudiation" of 2,000 years of Christian morality, according to leaders of a new campaign assembling education alternatives. The campaign is called California Exodus and is being headed by Ron Gleason, pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church in Yorba Linda, who said while the country excels in social, economic, scientific and political accomplishments, it "gets low grades on the education of its children."

California Court Rules Parents Must Have Teaching Credentials to Home School Kids - - - "Parents do not have a constitutional right to home school their children," Justice H. Walter Croskey wrote in a Feb. 28 opinion for the 2nd District Court of Appeal. Noncompliance could lead to criminal complaints against the parents, Croskey said. The immediate impact of the ruling was not clear. Opponents said they will appeal. An estimated 166,000 students in California are home schooled, but it was unclear how many of them are taught solely by an uncredentialed parent. To earn a five-year preliminary teaching credential in California, a person must obtain a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and complete multiple examinations. Until now, California allowed home schooling if parents filed paperwork to establish themselves as small, private schools; hired a credentialed tutor; or enrolled their child in an independent study program run by an established school while teaching the child at home.

Monday night on Political Pistachio Radio my guest is Mike Donnelly, a spokesman with Home School Legal Defense Association, the largest homeschooling organization in the United States to discuss the above topics, and more! Join us at 10:00 PM Eastern Time on Blog Talk Radio.

Robert Peters, President of Morality in Media, Inc.

Morality in Media, Inc. was established in 1962 to combat pornography, but as the time has passed, standards of decency in the media are becoming harder and harder to maintain. Recently, Lindsay Lohan posed for a nude photo shoot as Marilyn Monroe, but the sexy layout was not for Playboy, or any other magazine known for photographs of nude women. The recreation of Marilyn Monroe's legendary last nude photo shoot was for the February 25, 2008 issue of New York Magazine. Peters, regarding this, said that this effort to recreate that photo shoot "pushes the envelope further than them all."

Tonight, Robert Peters is our guest on Political Pistachio Radio. Join us at 10pm Eastern to discuss the controversial topic of the creeping incrementalism of obscenity in America.

Kathleen Willey - Target: Caught in the Crosshairs of Bill and Hillary Clinton

Kathleen Willey, wife, mother, and Democratic Political Activist, was working as a White House volunteer when, in 1993, President Clinton sexually assaulted her in the Oval Office. On the same day, her husband of 23 years committed suicide. Four years later, she was drawn into the Paula Jones sexual harassment lawsuit and subsequently, the Monica Lewinsky scandal, when she was forced to testify against Bill Clinton. Now, she has been targeted by the Clintons for daring to tell the truth, becoming the focus of media smear campaigns, terror tactics, and witness intimidation.

Willey was also betrayed by Hillary Clinton, stating in her book, Target: Caught in the Crosshairs of Bill and Hillary Clinton, that Hillary Rodham Clinton also ". . . betrayed all of the women her husband abused when she brought her power to bear on her husband's prey."

Despite Hillary's husband's 20 years of infidelity, made famous when the Monica Lewinsky affair broke in 1998, she is now a Democratic presidential frontrunner with Bill by her side.

Tonight on Political Pistachio Radio Kathleen Willey is our guest. She will explain years of accusations by women such as herself, Gennifer Flowers, etc. And we will discuss Mrs. Clinton's actions, and how she was willing to do whatever it took to ensure Bill Clinton's actions did not ruin their political careers. After all, for Hillary Clinton, it is all about power, and she is willing to do anything to reach the White House again.

Willey also says that her book contains explosive revelations that could damage Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, including accusations of campaign finance violations, new revelations about harassment and threats by the Clintons and their associates, and the identification of the person who threatened her just prior to her testimony against President Clinton - a man who turned out to be linked to the Clintons. Willey was also the target of an unusual house burglary that nabbed a manuscript of her book, while little else was taken from her home.

Now, Kathleen is warning that the Clinton Machine will sharpen its attacks on Obama, now that Hillary has been losing a string of primaries and caucuses to Senator Barack Obama. Willey has said that Hillary seeks to break Obama's momentum, "and we are going to see a lot more of the same Clinton tactics that I and a number of insiders have experienced."

Indeed, the Clinton Camp has launched a new "kitchen sink" strategy which intends to also go after pledged delegates, intended to get them to switch sides, regardless of state's caucus results. "In their desperation, they are creating another scenario for war within the Democratic Party."

Join us tonight at 10pm Eastern Time as we discuss this with Kathleen Willey on Political Pistachio Radio.

Victory Against Illegal Immigration!

Terry Funderburk is a roofer in South Carolina. He calls himself the Lone Protester, because when he protested against companies hiring illegal aliens, competitors that are putting him out of business by their actions, he was completely alone, aside from his son with a camera across the street. He was arrested for his protest as the illegals scattered. Now, after the long court battle, he has finally achieved victory. He is our guest tonight on Political Pistachio Radio.

Conservatives! Where has our American Conservatism Gone?

With conservatism in mind, first we need to tune in tonight to Andrea Shea King's Blog Talk Radio show tonight (with me as the co-host) as she welcomes Alfred Regnery, the publisher of The American Spectator. He's been part of the American conservative movement since childhood, when his father founded Regnery Publishing, the preeminent conservative publishing house. Al has chronicled the development of the conservative movement in his fascinating book UPSTREAM - the Ascendance of American Conservatism. Regnery is my guest tonight at 9pm Eastern Time/6pm Pacific. To listen, click here.

Then, after Andrea's show, Political Pistachio Radio will be interviewing Dr. Steve Sauerberg, the Republican Candidate in Illinois that will be running against Dick Durbin. Is he one of those conservatives we need in Congress? Will he be actively involved in downsizing the Federal Government? Where does he stand on the war? What is his economics background? Does he support the private ownership of guns by American Citizens? Is he pro-life? Will he be a force in defeating the socialism being thrust upon us by the liberal left? Or is he just another cowardly Republican that acts more leftist than conservative? The fireworks on Political Pistachio Radio begin when Andrea's show ends . . . at 10pm Eastern Time/7pm Pacific. Click here to listen live, or catch the archive later.

Dr. Jerome Corsi of World Net Daily

Dr. Corsi says that the Fed will lower the Dow to 8,000. According to Dr. Corsi’s article consumers should expect a deep recession because of a stealth methodology of the Federal Reserve to depress the market while lowering interest rates an an effort to stimulate economic growth. In other words, because the government is trying to manipulate the economy, they are ruining the economy! Dr. Jerome Corsi joins Political Pistachio tonight to discuss this economic disaster the Feds are creating. Join us at 10pm Easter/7pm Pacific.

Separation of Church and State

Debate tonight on Political Pistachio - and the Constitutionality of the argument will be brought to light by regular listener and caller, Loki. Oh, and of course we will talk about the New Hampshire Primary as well.

Personal Pistachio - The Night We Met

A long time ago, in a city not far away, Mrs. Pistachio kissed Doug for the first time. It was the beginning of a love affair that continues today. But the road has not always been paved with gold. The beginnings were the first dips of a major roller coaster ride that nearly split the two apart many times, only to smooth out over the last few years.

Installment one of the relationship that people wish to learn more about will be broadcast over Political Pistachio Radio on Blog Talk Radio on Sunday, January 6, 2008 - 9pm Eastern/6pm Pacific. No Politics. No discussions about Blogging. No mention of the War on the Islamic Jihad. The Sunday broadcasts are only personal - a journey through the years of The Pistachios.

The first episode is called: The Night We Met. Little did we know on that night that in less than three years we would be married, have a child, and I would die in an accident on my way to my Navy Sea-going Command. The night we met was the scene of our first dance, our first kiss, and the beginning of a rocky relationship that would nearly destroy our relationships with other people. . . and, the night we met was the night that a heart broke, and only a couple days before my heart broke as well. Tune in to find out - Personal Pistachio Debut.

And as an added note: I would like to thank all of the listeners for making Political Pistachio the third most listened to Conservative Show on Blog Talk Radio. Thank you. Your support makes it great.

A Tribute to Ronald Reagan, Debating the Debates, Iowa Caucus, Melissa Hart, and Personal Pistachio

On January 2, 2007 the Political Pistachio Radio Show began with a ten minute tribute to Ronald Reagan. Then, in anticipation of the Iowa Caucus, Mrs. Pistachio asked me, "What is a Caucus?" and "What's the difference between a Caucus and a Primary?" I attempted to answer the best I could, and received tremendous help from one of my listeners, a woman from Oregon that calls herself Flag Gazer. Then, the debate over the debates happened. Andrea Shea King gave a spirited argument regarding Fox News Channel's decision to disallow Hunter and Ron Paul to participate in the upcoming forum they plan to have - - - and MDConservative was not in agreement - - - and my opinion was somewhere in between.

On January 3, 2007 Pennsylvania 4th District Congressional Candidate Melissa Hart joined Political Pistachio Radio. The interview was fantastic (oh, and at the beginning of the show I cleared up the debate from the night before a little).

On January 5, 2007 The Wyoming Caucus and "After Iowa" will be discussed.

and Finally, on Sunday, January 6, 2007 Personal Pistachio will premiere. First episode? The night we met.

Child Predators - How Do You Really Know?

This post is re-posted from Warriors For Innocence. Please Visit the Site to Learn More, or tune in Wednesday, December 19, 2007 to Political Pistachio Radio, to learn more about this fight against the monsters that hunt our children.

By Sues from Warriors of Innocence dot Org.

I’m often asked, “How can I spot a child predator, pedophile, or child molester? How do I really know?”After reading our Grooming Articles, you’ll have some really great information at your fingertips that will help you recognize the behaviors of these predators.

Education really is the key to preventing these monsters from gaining access to our children. These guys rely on you NOT knowing how they operate and act. Our goal is to stop that from happening.

So how do you really know if someone is a threat? The problem is, you don’t. You can suspect, deter, and prevent, but you may never really know. Child predators are master manipulators and expert liars. They befriend the parents only so they can access their children.

You can’t point your finger at everyone who has the traits of a child predator. But you can trust your instincts and your gut. If it feels wrong, or if someone is suspicious, then keep them away from your children. Keeping your kids safe does not require labeling someone as a pedophile.

80-95% of all child abuse goes unreported. Children do not feel comfortable talking about abuse. Predators use this and will groom the child and manipulate them into not reporting it. It is not unusual for the child to develop feelings for the predator, and to want their approval. They will give up their ability to tell good from bad. This will end up justifying the molester’s behavior. Children are vulnerable and not physically capable of stopping abuse. Parents need to be the barrier that protects the children from predators.

Remember, in most cases, either the child or the parent knows the abuser. Don’t accept inappropriate behavior from anyone. Ever. Do not be confused by charm, intimidation, or justification. Don’t let others control the situation or cross the line of acceptable behavior. Learning to say “no” in a polite but assertive manner will not hinder friendships. It will, however, deter molesters. Child molesters will not waste their time on parents who refuse to accept their charm.

Predators have had the advantage for far too long. It’s time that we all stand up and do something to stop them.

Read all of our Grooming Articles here.

Once Again, the author of this piece, and the owner of Warriors For Innocence, will be my guest on Political Pistachio Radio on Wednesday, December 19th at 10pm Eastern Time. Be educated! Do Not Miss This Broadcast!

Iran Did Not Abandon Nuclear Weapons Ambitions in 2003!

Did any of you believe that recent U.S. intel report that stated Iran suspended its nuclear weapons ambitions in 2003? Neither did Israel. In fact, Israel has "incriminating" information Iran has continued its nuclear weapons program, directly contradicting last week's U.S. Intelligence Report. In fact, an Israeli security official who has access to classified Israeli defense material and intelligence reports on Iran says that Iran is also continuing the acquisition and development of missiles, and that the U.S. estimates fall way short. He also adds that he believes the U.S. intel is "politically motivated."

The official has further stated that Israel is "gravely concerned" that the U.S. Intelligence Report may remove the U.S. military option against Iran from the table, and is likely to be the foundation for Russian and Chinese vetoes against further sanctions on Iran scheduled to be discussed December 11th at the United Nations. This official said these things to a gentleman by the name of Aaron Klein.

Aaron Klein is the Jerusalem bureau chief for www.worldnetdaily.com and will be discussing the NIE and Iranian nuclear ambitions live from Israel on Political Pistachio Radio this coming Wednesday, December 12th, 2007.

You don't want to miss this interview!

Tune in at 10pm Eastern Time on Wednesday night live at Political Pistachio Radio - and join the chat room if you dare. Aaron will be on for about 20 to 25 minutes, and then after he departs from the show, callers will be welcome to chime in to discuss the interview. You may call into the show live at 646-652-2940 after the interview. Also, if you wish to forward questions during the interview that you would like me to ask Aaron Klein, you may send them to me by Yahoo Instant Messenger, ID douglasvgibbs, or send it in the chat room.

Who Is Your Candidate for 2008?

Red November is the goal, and the election is less than a year away. But do you really know which candidate best fits your criteria?

To my surprise, after taking the Select A Candidate Quiz, it turns out that Tancredo best fits what I expect from a candidate. Huckabee, a candidate I have indicated I think fits my mold, wasn't even in my top five. Hunter and Thompson were my number two and three.

What is Doug talking about?

Go HERE for the Select A Candidate Quiz and find out for yourself - Then, tune in tonight to Political Pistachio Radio and join myself, Mrs. Pistachio, and Josh P. Allem in a discussion about the quiz, how the candidates answered, and what we think was the best responses to the questions.

Broadcast airs live tonight at 10pm Eastern Time on Political Pistachio Radio.
