Political Pistachio Radio will air on Wide Awakes Radio on Saturdays, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Pacific Time, 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm Eastern Time.

For my European readers/listeners, I am sorry, because that is after midnight on the other side of the pond. As the show grows in popularity, I will try to also add a morning show (which is in the afternoon for those in Europe). Stay tuned.

Premiere date will probably be February 10th, 2007, but that date has still not been confirmed, yet. I will keep you posted.

Downloading shows so that you may listen later is a possibility. Again, I will keep you posted.

What I have done for the radio show is set it up into four segments. It is a two hour show, so each segment will be 1/2 hour. The first segment will be "The Week's Headlines in a Nutshell" and "The Nuttiest Item of the Week." (nuttiest item will be stories like how in Tijuana, because of some Tijuana Police Officers acting as body guards for drug smugglers, the Mexican federal government sent the military to Tijuana to confiscate the Police Department's guns, and issued the cops there slingshots and bags of ball bearings instead).

Second segment: Biggest Nutcases of the Week (regarding idiotic actions of nutcases i.e. ACLU junk, Pelosi activities, Hillary, etc.)

Third secgment: Best Nutcrackers of the Week (I have a feeling O'Reilly, Hannity, Gingrich, and news regarding like folks will dominate this segment).

Fourth and final segment; Your Nutty Comments and E-mails, and final commentary. This will include comments from my various sites, as well as e-mails received regarding the show.

Of course, any incoming calls will be welcomed and integrated into the segments. I have a feeling the shows won't go exactly according to plan, especially thanks to callers, but that's the fun of it. My only regret is that the show airs at a time that most folks are considering going out for the evening, and past midnight in Europe (My Political Pistachio site has quite a few European readers).

The actual topics will come from the news for the most part, and my final commentary will usually be something near and dear to my heart like the abortion issue, secular progressive junk, etc.

So is the date confirmed yet?

Still not confirmed. . . I will post when it is. The plan was to have the new servers up after the Super Bowl, but Kender has encountered some unexpected obstacles. Stay tuned.
